St. Paul United Methodist Women

UMW is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.

At St. Paul UMC the UMW is made up of three groups:

  • Hannah-Meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Christian Life Enrichment Center Room 243 at 6:45 p.m. There is a time of fellowship, refreshments, a program and business meeting.
  • Rachel-Lydia-Meets the second Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Christian Life Enrichment Center Room 101.
  • Dorcas-Meets the second and fourth Wednesdays each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Christian Life Enrichment Center, Room 243. This group of seamstresses create items to sell and donate. No experience is necessary. You may always help with sorting, cutting and other tasks.
