2026 Spring Break Mission Trip

Wimauma, FL

Dates: March 16-20

This year's spring break mission trip is open to eighth graders through high school seniors. We’ll be serving in Wimauma, FL at Wholesome Church doing home repair on the parsonage that was greatly affected by the hurricanes. Students attending this trip must be active in student ministry.

Cost

$200 total. $100 will be due on Sunday, Feb. 8 and $100 on Sunday, March 8.

SCHEDULE

We’ll meet at the church at 7:30 AM on Monday morning, March 16. Students should eat breakfast before arriving. We’ll pack lunch together at church and load the bus for the worksite. We’ll eat breakfast and dinner at the camp where we're staying and make lunches for the worksite each day. 

Packing List

EVERY volunteer should have the following items with them.

  • Bible and notebook/journal
  • Flashlight
  • We Are One t-shirt (we’ll wear this on Tuesday evening)
  • Closed-toed tennis shoes or heavy-soled work boots
  • Work gloves that can get dirty
  • Work clothes for 4 days (can get dirty)
  • Hat
  • Footwear for when you’re not working
  • Clothes, bathing suit and beach towel for fun day on Friday
  • Safety Glasses or goggles
  • A personal water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Trash bag for dirty clothes
  • Toiletries
  • Phone Charger
  • Camp chair
  • Poncho or umbrella
  • Optional: Snacks
  • Optional: Bluetooth speaker for worksite, charger
  • Optional: Disc golf discs (if you have them)
  • Optional: Hammock 

Linens are provided at the camp. That includes sheets, blanket, pillow, pillowcase, and a bath towel. 

LOCATION

We’ll be staying at Cedarkirk Camp and Conference Center in Lithia, FL. See some pictures of the camp accomodations below.
