It's Pastor Appreciation Month!
October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Of course we should be thanking and appreciating our pastors all year long, but this month is a good reminder to show our pastors how grateful we are for them! Here are a few ways that we can show our pastor we appreciate him all year long.
Share a WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Pastors love to receive a card, note or email that offers a word of encouragement or simply says thanks.
Give them a call
A simple phone call can mean a great deal to a pastor who more often receives calls about how things can be improved. A word of gratitude or an uplifting conversation can help your leaders feel renewed.
Get Involved at the Church
Getting involved in church is more than just a Sunday morning event. It can mean taking part in classes, events and leadership groups. It can also mean helping support the church by volunteering your time! There are many ways to serve in the church and taking part in our community shows a pastor that you appreciate and support them by supporting their work and the ministries of the church.
Pray for them
Pastors can use prayers throughout the year. They need encouragement, they need peace, they need wisdom and guidance. Don’t forget to continually keep your pastor, their family and their work in prayer!
