Part Time Accompanist
The accompanist assists the Worship Ministry in providing accompaniment on Sunday mornings, attending Thursday night rehearsals, and as needed for special performances and occasions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
High level performance, knowledge of worship and theological understanding to assist with music selection, 4+ years’ experience accompanying worship, strong organizational skills, strong people skills, ability to work creatively with the worship team and volunteers, committed to Christ and called to service.
PAY AND BENEFITS
Hourly pay rate between $19 and $26 depending on prior experience as a church accompanist. A typical work week consists of 8 hours including one worship service on Sunday, one rehearsal on Thursday, and private rehearsal time in preparation of solos and accompaniment. A special flat rate is paid per event for funerals and weddings. This part-time position does not qualify for any benefits or paid time off.
