Our students worked hard on the middle school mission trip to Orlando! They worked with four different organizations through Serve Orlando.
At Edgewood Children’s Ranch, they gardened and prepared seeds for planting.
At Central Florida Christian Academy, they did landscaping, painting and other jobs to prep the campus for the school year.
At the Christian Service Center, they prepped lunch for the community.
At Clean the World, they sorted soap that will go through a sanitation process and be sent internationally to places where access to soap can help eradicate diseases.
Our Student Ministry Team leaders weren't the only ones who noticed how hard our students' were working. Leaders at the school sent us this text: “All our staff that worked with the students were VERY thankful for all the hard work that was done this afternoon. Everyone is talking about how polite, willing, and cooperative they were. They don’t complain at all. They followed directions and worked really hard.”
After all their hard work the team also took time to worship, pray and have some fun bowling and at Disney Springs. We're so proud of our students' hard work and willingness to serve others!
