Online Bible Study
Every Tuesday, from 04/07/2026 to 04/28/2026, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
During April, Pastor Don will lead an online zoom study on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
The study will use the SOAP method (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) to guide us as we read daily scripture and then share discussion and prayer once a week as a group. There is no book to buy, we'll be using only the Bible for this study. See below for instructions and scripture readings for each week.

Instructions
There are five Scripture Readings for each week. You can use the extra days to catch up if you miss any.
Read both Scriptures. Choose which one or which verse(s) especially spoke to you as you read them. Then write in your journal or notebook using the SOAP method. During our online meeting we will discuss each scripture and the SOAP notes we've made during the week.
- Scripture. Write down the Scripture verse or verses that have special meaning to you from this reading.
- Observation. Observe what the meaning of the Scripture is in its context.
- Application. Write a brief Application of that Scripture to your life right now.
- Prayer. Write a short Prayer incorporating the verse into your life.
Here's an example using the scripture John 11:16.
- Scripture: “Then Thomas, called Didymus said to the rest of the disciples, ‘Let us also go, that we may die with him.’”
- Observation: Thomas understood the danger of returning to Judea with Jesus. He was a wanted man. Here is a scene that shows Thomas’ courage.
- Application: We often think of Thomas as “The Doubter.” He is also a man of courage and loyalty. We are all a mixed bag.
- Prayer: Dear God, I know that there are times when I have my doubts. Help me also have courage and loyalty to you. Amen.
