2023 Middle School Missions Trip

Serve Orlando

Dates: July 12-15

Middle school students are invited to join us for a mission trip to Orlando this July. We'll be partnering with Serve Orlando again to help several local organizations that serve the Orlando community.

Wednesday, July 12

  • 5:30p     Meet to leave for Orlando (eat before you come)
  • 8:00p     Arrive at Forrest Lake Academy (staying in dorms)
  • 9:00p     Evening Session
  • 11:00p   Lights Out

Thursday, July 13

  • 7:30a     Breakfast
  • 8:30a     Depart for first worksite
  • 12:00p   Lunch
  • 1:30p     Serve at second worksite
  • 5:00p     Dinner at Forrest Lake Academy
  • 7:00p     Evening Session
  • 8:00p     Games and hang out
  • 11:00p   Lights Out

 Friday, July 14 

Same schedule as Thursday but serving with two different organizations.

 Saturday, July 15

  • 7:30a     Breakfast
  • 8:30a     Depart for worksite
  • 12:00p   Lunch (road meal)
  • 3:00p     Arrive back at church

  • Bible

  • Sleeping bag or sheets and a blanket (dorm rooms are chilly)

  • Work clothes for 3 days
  • Tennis shoes and socks for work sites
