Dorcas Sewing Circle

01.13.22 | Women | Ways to Serve | For Pinellas | Give in Love

The UMW Dorcas Sewing Circle recently delivered 204 lap quilts, 40 walker bags and 16 comfort pillows to 10 local nursing homes. They also delivered 5 baby quilts, 5 knitted sweaters and 5 knitted hats to the Kimberly Home Pregnancy Center. Praise God! These gifts were made by volunteers of all ages, and our prayer is that they will not only will warm bodies but share God’s love with all that use them. If you would like to use your sewing skills to share God's love with others, join Dorcas in room 212 any time from 9 AM to 1 PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Make a few friends and help others at the same time. Cotton fabric donations are also welcome. If you're a beginner don’t let that stop you, we can teach you!
