District Post-General Conference/Pre-Annual Conference Briefing

At this meeting, a General Conference delegate from our District (Rev. Magrey DeVega) will present a report on what took place at General Conference and how it affects our local churches and ministries.
Then, a member of the Realignment Team (Rev. Emily Hotho) will present the Realignment Team report in advance of Annual Conference. The Realignment Team was tasked with reducing the Conference budget by 35% as we lost 35% of our income due to disaffiliations, so that remaining churches would not experience a burdensome apportionment increase. We want to share with you how we reached that budget reduction, while also streamlining the work of our Conference to be laser focused on our mission: equipping leaders to make disciples.
We will also cover the basics of Annual Conference and answer questions!
