Our Martha Ministry provides cooked food, paid for by ministry volunteers, to people who are actively involved with St. Paul and need help during a difficult time in their lives. Martha Ministry is a valuable resource for those who are overwhelmed by and illness, accident, or even a happy event like the birth of a child.
How does the ministry work?
We provide food for two meals for a person or family with extended illness, after release from hospitalization, after an accident, after the birth of a child or in other crisis situations. Food allergies or preferences are honored. For example, you can let us know if food needs to be without salt or sugar, or gluten-free. We ask that you give our Martha Ministry team at least 24 to 48 hours notice to prepare food, since many of our volunteers work or have other volunteer commitments.
